Hey brooks!

How do you think two L7's with about 2500 watts to them would sound in our trucks???

I'm thinking about it if I get my setup now sold, HEHEHEHEHE!

I say go with some American Bass subs and a nice Profile or Jensen amp. Or maybe a full Jensen system from the head unit down to the Jensen bandpass box!!

2 L7 whats? 10's 12's 15's?
2 of the above plus 2500 watts @ 2ohm mono would split every intercooler in a 5 block radius. LOL

what? that they have to use a step ladder to reach the valve stems on the tires?
or, that they can change the oil on a lowered truck without jacking it up?

LOL

Mines good at that, thats why I keep her around. HEHEHEHEHE

I was thinking 12"s since I have one already in my grand prix that I'm getting new under warrenty now and then I'm going to do a sinlge 15" L7 in the grand prix with the ZX500.

Cyntaxx has got me looking at the titanium eclipse subs now too. they look sweet, but there expensive too. I'm going to have to hear them in person to see what I like the best. I'm going to stop by the local audio shop to hear some more subs, I want more musical sound now too so I think some decent 12's would be the best to hit a little lower and not have to go nutty.

Guys, on the topic of stereos, if you're running 2500-2800 watts do you need more batteries or a bigger alternator? Especially on a street-driven vehicle....I know you don't play yours that much Joe...

good battery and a big cap and you should be decent with it. I would like to upgrade to a new alternator soon though.

Killa you change your setup very often. Those subs are barely broke in good. It gonna be a little tougher to fit L7 12's back there.

Well I'm considering a couple of options for subs now, HEHEHE.

I can't help it, I like to experiment with subs to see what changes and how much I like it and what not.

I know the best sound would come from a vented bed, but I'm not in any hurry to cut a vent in my truck now. HAHAHAHHA.

these eclipse titanium 12"s look really nice and I think they would play allot louder and cleaner then the L7's. But there also $550 bucks each anywhere I've looked on the net.

I'm just never happy with the same thing for two long I guess.

I could fit 3 of those bad boys back if I really wanted to get crazy, but I don't know if thats what I'm looking to do with this setup this time around.

Hey guys, these look they might be really nice in the beast!!! 7.5 inch mounting depth for a 10 but I think I could manage it with some steel plating for the back insted of MDF. HEHEHEHE. I'm going to see what kinda of deal I can get with them since they are so new an supposed to move tons of air too!

Nuts

A couple of years back some dude went to an SPL contest (forgot which one) with a woofer that fit in a moving truck or something. It was insanely huge and the cone was actually mechanically being pushed by a huge control arm. Obviously he got kicked out hehehehe...

That's what you need Joe!
