Day of pulleys!
Day of pulleys!
Just a happy thread:
I installed two pulleys today, a 4lb lower (replacing my 2lb) and a smaller pulley for my 200A alternator (I was using stock)
Both went well, the interchangeable pulley came off without a hitch (bolts were on damn tight though)
Truck feels very alive.
Anyone want to hazard a guess at my new best ET? Previous with the 2lb was a 12.87@107
Coldie

Congrats.
Mine felt VERY alive after going from the #2er to the #4. But I also added a #1 upper along with a couple of other things.
Haven't had the chance to run it yet, but I'm hoping to knock off 3-4 tenths with everything.
I would guess with a fairly aggressive burn, you should be in the 12.5xx range now. Traction will be an issue if you're still on F1s.
Question. Did you need to use the lockup tool or was belt tension enough to crack loose the hex-head bolts on the pulley?
Good luck!
