Pics inside of that Brand Spankin New 99 "L"

This is the first of 4 pictures I'm going to post. Some of you might remember a post I made a few weeks ago about this Lightning. The owner has had it in a climate controlled bag since he purchased it back in 99. Enjoy

So, what is something like that worth? About $25K maybe? If he got it on A plan he might break even unless he plans on keeping it.

It was one of the first Lightnings to hit the streets down here in South Florida back in 99 so you know he paid a premium for it. He realizes that he will never get his investment back if he sells it now. He put it in the South Florida auto trader though... If he gets his price fine, if not he's just going to drive it and enjoy it...

That's nice, but it's nothing compared to the NOS 67 Mustang with 3 miles on it that's on ebay right now. Starting bid is 60k .

AND I THOUGHT I WAS ****

I guess when I look back I realize I truly would have been a MILLIONAIRE if I had kept 1/2 of what I've had.
But I also believe in Driving them, and not just looking at them.

That is a Beaut Though

I would keep it in its bag for like another 10 years. should be worth something. People do it and get theirs money worth in the end. For any kind of investment you have to wait a long time.

He already saved it long enough so he might as well keep preserving it!!

I think what its worth is what someone is willing to pay. I know I personally would pay up to 35K right now for it. No $$ though

theres the link to what Sal is talking about, looks nice, but pink? Maybe someone would pick it up but despite my incredible love for the 66 and 67 fastback stangs, that one just doesnt do it for me. A nice car none the less. The best auction for a stang ive seen was a 66 shelby gt 350, it was all original white paint except one panel which was repainted. I think the od was in the 250-300 range but i just cant remember. Anyway it went like 200k+ but that car was an erection starter.
