NO oil in intake...

I used to have a small ring of oil around my TB (the outter lip) as well as a small ring around the part of the rubber boot that connects to the TB but no more! It has been more than 4000 miles since I installed my EV 98B PCV valve and am having great results....

I took a peak inside my plenum and it was dry as a bone also....

I basically did the DS kit without using the dime-sized plate to plug up the upper part of that line. I simply purchased that 5 dollar PCV valve and replaced my stock one with it.

Again, part # is: EV-98B PCV valve
stock pcv valve is: EV 233...

I installed only the EV-98-B PCV valve a few weeks ago as well.

Although I have not really checked for a more/less oil being in the intake, I have noticed that I don't have any puffs of smoke from the exhaust during startup like I used to.

The oil level on my dipstick seems to be more consistant during regular checks now as well.

FYI, The sprinkler head screen that has been reported as stopping this oil... it does not.

I will be going by the parts store today to find the PCV valve.

I removed the pcv system altogether. I definately don't have any oil in the intake.

Ya gotta love the ingenuity (as well as the tenacity) of this community. Ford denies there is a problem with oil in the intake, only because they can't seem to find the fix...............

I've seen at least three attempts here come and go, each one making a good faith effort at fixing the problem. Oil breather caps, seperators, etc.

Now this newest method seems to be working even better...........gotta love it.
