Magnaflow cat back?

Who's running it? It seems like a great deal, all stainless and costs just a bit more than the MAC. I'm just curious for the people that have invested do you like and are there any fit issues and who stocks it? Todd

I love mine, best fit, sound, quality, welds, materials, etc. regardless of money for the L.

Developed using my truck. Couldnt have been happier. Very agressive sound at WOT.. Calm at idle with a nice deep rumble.

And that is based on what?

Your opinion
Test results of material used
Test reports of x-ray of the welds

Valid question.
My degree is in mechanical engineering.
Half of my family are professional welders.
My uncle is the welder on a race team.
I purchase raw materials for my CNC machine.
I've seen 3 catback systems for the L.
I've seen dozens of catback systems.

This is based on my opinion. I didn't bother X-Raying. I didn't bother doing destructive tests for Young's modulus of elastisity, or Poisons Ratio. Nor would I want to. If you've seen the catbacks that I've seen for the L, the magnaflow is clearly superior. Does it really matter, NO. This is just exhaust for God sakes. They all worked fine without leaks. But I can also say that of all the L systems I've heard, this Magnaflow system has less droan.

Like I said it's just my opinion, I'm sure that you really like whatever system that you have. He asked about the Magnaflow, and that's what I have.

I don't have the 'new' c/b that vmf was involved with but my JDM, single muffler(14568) c/b is just what I wanted--no drone with slightly louder(lower) sound than the OEM.

I have the mac but i am gonna sell it i think and get the JDM one. It looks nice and seems like a great system. I wasted my money with the mac. You live and you learn i guess. My mac got an exhaust leak in like 2 weeks at the welds adn it sucks. They are sendin me a new one and i am sellin it new. Hopefully i can get rid of it so i can get teh jdm one.
