Talking After The Burned Valve, My Truck Is Running!

Spend my last two hours on it last night putting togather the header. Sure does run great! I'm glad to be back in the game. Need to give my wallet a break and enjoy it for awhile. Thanks Jim and Justin for getting my chip back. It doesen't feel like I lost too much power with one side safe and the track 93 octane burn. I put Tulene in this morning, so with 93 burn and 96-100 octane should be the best huh? Just can't have no more detonation. I have burned one valve, bent one and wasted about 6-7 plugs. I will mind!

What internals did you end up deciding on? Any plans to put those goodies to use with a KB, Works, or nitrous?

JDMs. He has done alot of research on his pistons and rods. Some say the others make noise like a thrashing machine some say thay don't. I don't know. I trusted Jim and I can't hear my rods or pistons.I did not want to do it twice.

I'm scared to drive it, I keep blowing things. Skankdog calls me "Lightning Killa!" I will chill for a few mounths. Perhaps rollpan, sidesteps, bedrails, wiper cowl is in the close future!

Lightning Killa! hehehe, good one! Glad to hear it's back together.

Call me if you want some smooth caps, Tim. I just installed a set on mine, they look good.

So JDM fabricates and machines their own pistons and rods? Or are you saying you trusted his recommendations on which brand (IE Manley, JE, CP, etc) to go with...
