i put brushed aluminum grills in my lightning a long time ago...

the top one went in great, but the bottom one was a pain in the butt. i had to shave the ends off to get it to fit, and they still don't look right to me now.
now the black powdercoating is starting to peel off, and i want to buy a new one & replace it..

has anyone recently installed a Trenz lower billet grill?
if so, did it fit correctly?

I did about a month ago. The bottom went in perfect. No trimming what so ever. I got them on sale from godfathercustoms.

 

Mine fit perfectly as well. Also godfathercustoms...no sale though...& it took me 3 months to get it...
