I'm with Spank... I've heard few headunits that rival the sound quality of a high-end Kenwood.

That is about the only redeeming part of that movie.

but yeah Kenwood or Eclipse and if money is no object FoCal speaker are sweet..

Friend installs stereo's and they are setting up an H2 with focal's thing has so much base it broke the spot welds on back fender and rear driver side fender rattles (they are going to have to take it to body shop..) also they put in foam insulation and the base made it blow the vents on the back off and shot the foam out..

Sounds like they need to reinforce everything with cement...

I'm interested in the KVT-911DVD... anywhere I can get it for better than $1700 ? (etronics.com)

or should I wait until the KVT-915DVD comes out ("fall 2003") so the prices on the 911 go down ?

so i will need to find a cd changer that supports mp3 discs?

or i can do what i am thinking of and stashing a tiny pc somewhere in the truck for mp3, navigation, divx, games and hook it up to the kenwood's lcd

For pure sound quality you can't beat Denon. Expensive and not many features but they are regarded as the absolute best in terms of SQ.
