We Had a Great Time meeting everyone again this year.. The weather was kinda of gloomy and held things up a bit..But Atleast it wasn't a wash out! We just got our 01 put together for the event and had no time to test it out. We had a few bugs to get worked out. our 1st. pass it blew a fuel pump fuse (12.0). 2nd pass 1 of the fuel pumps burned up (12.?)...So we dropped the tank and replaced the pumps. 3rd. pass we still had a fuel pressure drop on the launch so i lifted and took it easy the rest of the way it went 11.1@ 112... We then put it on the dyno to get things straightend out. @ 15# of boost we made 630 RWHP and like 675 TRQ. We got the fuel issue straightend out but now we were dialed in @ a 11.0...So we just took it easy Not to Break out in Eliminations....We made it all the way to the finals did our burnout and then the truck shut off.We had - - - - - - on the odometer. so i figured the Processor burned up for whatever reason. So we had to except Runner-up. This Year..Which was fine. i would have rather lost it my self instead of breaking down. I later found out it was the fuse that blew! I had a spare fuse right there. But never thought to get out and check it out!.... I was very pleased to see how well our JLP trucks faired this weekend We had the Fastest gen 2 trucks @ the event. Charlie made a 10.9 pass and many 11.0's deep staging. we had plenty more power on tap but didn't need to turn it up anymore since he was the Fastest!(Qualified #1 with the gen 2's)Way To Go Charlie! Eric went a 11.2 on his mild program... We are going to hit the track friday night to see what we can lay down @ 23# of boost. if it all comes together it should be interesting! The truck is a Beast for sure! I had several people tell me when we launched 1 time we had (both) tires off the ground! And that was with only 15# of boost....We'll have photo's and a vidieo of this fridaynight.....Again thanx to ALL for a Great Time!......JL

winner in the first round was the only consolation for that long
drive out there.

 

It was great meeting you and Sue at the event this year! Been running all JLP parts since just a few months after buying the truck...bought some more the day of, and LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF THEM!!

Missed you guys this year. Moped around the house all weekend. The truck looks amazing and you are definitely doing great things, but nobody is surprised at that. I can't wait to see the video. Any chance we'll be able to witness the fury first hand in KS in Sep?

I had a great time and can't wait for WFC 7. I've missed all of them in the past because I've gone on vacation, but next year I will wait until after WFC to go abroad.

It was nice seeing u at wfc this past weekend!! Hopefully u get the issues figured out with your truck.. I want to see that thing make a full pass!!!! To bad yu were gone today when I droped my truck off... I saw your other 2 cobras!!!!! That red cobra rocks!!!!!!! very nice indeed!!! Make sure u take care of my truck..... I already miss it.... Oh well I knw when I come pick it up it will be just a tad bit faster HEHEHEEHEHEHE
