Yet another suspension question...

Am about to get the clunk washers, cam bolts, and an alignment. Playing with the idea of a small drop for my truck. Maybe a 1-2 or something where I can simply use Springs in the front and shackles in the bad. I don't want it to affect handling too much. It can ride stiffer...don't care about that.

Other than the FRPP, what options do I have? 2 inch shackles and 1 inch lowering springs? What brand? I've heard the Eibach ends up being a 2 inch drop in the front?

Thanks!

That's for the front correct? I dunno if I'm ready for a 2/3 but I'd consider it. How is pricing? I'm looking for a relatively cost-effective way to drop but don't want bump steer etc. And I don't believe in 4 inch shackles being a 4 inch drop so....

Sorry for the dumb question but can you still use the stock springs and shocks with the drop spindles? I may be a wimp, but I sort of like the way my truck rides.

For a 1/2 drop you could consider Ground Force & Bell Tech as your best options. GF is the mfg. for Ford SVT kits.

Or get a Hotchkis kit.. Not sure how much you're looking to spend, but from drop coils and leafs, you won't get much better, and it's a 1"/2" kit...

If you go the Hotchkis route, new shocks are in order as it will wear out the stock ones quicker.

I didn't think that anyone made a drop spindle for the F-150. I have seen control arms, but not spindles..

I for one would love to get a set of drop spindles though...

I would love a Hotchkis setup but I don't think I want to spend that much for them. If I had the money, I would consider the Roush setup as well. Or the Hotchkis coils, leafs, QA1s, etc...

Are Ruslow's parts a cheap alternative? I know he can custom fab springs to your specs but didn't know the pricing on that stuff. Or does he already have 1" springs avail?

I just ordered my Hotchkis coils from Summit. They did a pricematch on LFP @ $154 and no extra shipping charges.
