Got My #4 Pulley Installed!

Houston... We don't have a problem...

I stopped at Pep Boys to buy some jack stands, got a good deal on a set of jack stands, a second jack (I already had one), and a creeper for 34.99. Worked great. I got most of it apart, had a few problems, and my dad insisted on helping. I think he enjoyed working on the car more then me *grin*...

We had to call up the guys at PDInnovations and where very quick to help us out! We had a problem with the silver gap peice that gaps the hole to make the pulley fit on a 99/00. Fit nice, got it all hooked up, and fired her up. Mmm.... MMMMm....

I let it run a bit, checked the bolts after I turned it off. All where still snug and near the lbs of torque. Took a shower, cleaned up, went out to eat. Drove it nicely and got up on a back street to get on it a bit to see how it goes. Big difference. I seen a difference with just the chip, but now the pulley too. Mmm, More power! w00t! I went through a lot of gas messing around *smile*.

I couldn't find anything to mess with though. There was a corvette convention at a resturant down the street from me. I just stopped in at the little store near by to grab something to drink. They all starred and didn't say anything. I smiled, got in, revved a bit so they could hear my s/c makes it little howl and then slowly drove past looking at them all. Was fun. I am madly in love with my truck...

I already ordered my Boost Bypass Valve. What exactly is this going to do? I know now, I have some sort of boost controll that prevents boost at idle conditions? Why would I want to 'bypass' that so to speak? Or do I have my whole image on this wrong? Feedback is appreciated!

Thanks thanks and thanks!

Save your money on the boost bypass mod. Just unplug it.

I did a search and found lots. I already ordered it, and to be safe and the fact I hate lights coming on ... *smile* ... I will install it. So this will basically prevent any boost being lost between tire warming and between shifts? I will maintain pressure at all times during WOT basically Sounds good and sounds like I need it. Thanks guys (and girls if any are on the board...I keep saying guys).
