The track is taking everything they are throwing at it.

Previous NHRA Pro stock record was 6.75@204mph

Top Fuel and Funny car arent setting any new records, but Melani Troxil sure is hot.

I wish I could, but I have familly stuff to do.

 

Just got back from the track.........records all falling and would have been smashed, but the teams where just trying to get into the show with a lot of qualifing rained out
Top Fuelers hit 4.51 with Kalitta taking the pole and Muldowney hit 4.59, the ole gal can still hit it
Funny Cars are the two John Force cars running 1 and 2 with a 4.7's with John himself at #2
Pro Stock was the best with Anderson going 6.68@206 and get this..........a .996 60ft time--------YIPES-------

Time to pop a brew and watch the Winston!
Got to get up early to head over for the finals tomorrow

And yes, those where two different runs, I just listed his best et and mph, sorry for the confusion I just was making notes on a piece of paper during the day while having a few brews.

I thought it was going to be warm today. It was cold at E-town today, but the cars were hot! Anderson went 6.67 at 210 or something, TA dragster went 4.48.

Brandon Bernstein went over the wall and is in the hospital. Looks like Kenny might be driving. I hope Brandon is ok.

Here's two pics of an Extreme truck. It's the closest to a Lightning that I saw. It was dialed in like a 10.1.




Hey Gator, did you sit in that pseudo Pro Stock car at the Poweraide area? It was on rollers like a chassis dyno and they let you sit in it and pull the levers on the Lenco. Looked pretty cool.

 

Hey Buddy, just got back in a while ago. Couldn't believe how nice it is in Linden and it was so cool and windy at E-town.
I saw the car but didn't get in, my friggin back is all flucked up. It hurts just to walk, wasn't going to go today, but that wasn't an option.
I was in the pits when Bradon fired up his car, so I walked as fast as I could to the fence. Boy O boy, that was ulgy. I hear now that he has a couple "fractures" in his disc's and will be out for a couple months. Kenny will be back in the car.
After a lull in the action, I decided to walk over to the Budweiser pits to check out Bradons car. It wasn't back yet, but the team pulled a new frame out of the trailer and where putting together a new car! I guess the have to be ready for next week.
I took "lots" of pictures but it will be monday before I post them up. Back hurts to much
Going to try some Jack Daniels and going to the doctor tomorrow
