I've already posted a post a while back about the install. I am really interested in doing this. I was just wondering how much that console would cost through ford, or if there was anywhere cheaper I can get it at.



I really really am jealous of that set up. If I had the money I would really like to do that. I think I am going to save my money for that mod, the key pad mod and get the hood I've been wanting for a while. Again I have to give credit to zbornac. great work on the interior. I believe someone here purchased the console, brackets and hardware new from the dealership and ended up paying $749. I am looking to get one too but I don't think I'm ready to cough up that much change for a console.

 

It is a sweet mod though. The next one i see for sale in the classifieds, im jumping on it. Thats how the L should of come from the factory.

The reason they are so expensive now, is Ford redesigned the Expidition and the new consoles don't fit our trucks. When the expy used the same body style, you could get take outs from companies that converted the expy to use in police, fire, and ambulance use.

I ended up getting a console out od a Super crew, it cost me $280 for rhe console and $100 for the cover.

Part numbers and prices on a new console
I keep reading about one part number for the console.WRONG.THERE ARE 16. That includes the brackets and cd changer holder and mats. It does NOT include the brackets for the seat.That is 3 more parts.

Here is a list of the part numbers and retail prices.
I did not pay these prices.I payed less.But if you went to ford this is what they will charge you.

I have had the Harley Lid for several months and like it.

I also have installed new door switch covers on the arm rest and the same on the Stereo bezel....Have not seen anyone with this pattern of stuff....

how much was the changer holder cost...
The mat is 5 bucks?

My changer is wedged in at the back...

Have you figured out what goes in the compartment under the lid?

Guess I'll have to take some digital pics..

The ones I have are on my old 30 year old canon....and scannned in....

I was thinking about painting the lower do0or pattern that looks like the leather......
