I bought my 2003 Black Lightning the first of this month, been reading here since and decided to register today. Ok now to some questions...

Looking to get the truck in the mid 12s with easy to swap out parts for warranty work if needed, what are the recommendations here? Lower pulley and chip will get me how close to that?

Where do I find out what number my truck is?

A 6# pulley, and good dyno tune and an open airfilter will get you there easily. If you wanna find out your build number get your VIN and call 1 800 FORD SVT. Good luck with the truck and welcome to the family.

 

Welcome! I got my daily driven 01 L in the mid-12s with 5lb pulley, th/body, Fast Air kit, chip, Truck-Traks, d/s loop, 160* 'stat, NGK BR7EFs, and 16" M/T ET Streets.

You will not find out till they send your build cert. later this year or early next year ( whenever they finish up production)
