Question Reichard Racing Uppers??

I was wondering if anyone has tryed these yet since they came out. They say they can make the pulleys any size you want. Was looking to run maybe a pound or two more of boost plus they suppose to help eliminate belt slip with the notches cut in them too. Still not sure on the boost part since i like to do high speed WOT runs down the freeway, but my motor seems pretty strong. Just looked at there site and its down?

search for ultra grip on the NLOC site. Or start a post. the supporting vendors will jump on that thread like a vulture on roadkill

i am also wanting to add 1/2 to a 1-1/2 pounds of boost on top of my 4lb pulley. I wonder what size i need to do this.

Thumbs up

I highly recommend them. They are lightweight, DO reduce belt slippage, and also look good also. I noticed an immediate difference with mine. I went with the 2.8 inch upper.

I promise you will like it

if a 2.8 gives you 2-3 pounds will a 2.85 give 1-2. Will a 2.9 give any boost over the stock upper?

I believe the stock size is 2.93.....so a 2.90 would not produce any measurable extra boost..

However, you would lose the belt slippage, and there would be less parasitic drag due to the weight of the pulley... (These things weigh NOTHING!) But I doubt you'd ever notice a difference.
