Noisy Roush rear springs.

As with most of the almost $7000.00 worth of mods I've installed on my 03 I have problems with the rear springs. They make noise at slow speeds. Anyone else have this problem? Over $36000.00 invested and it squeeks like Hell! I've oiled it with WD40 a few times but it returns in a few days.
I'm thinking of calling Eric at Roush. If I had paid the full $1200.0 price I would have shoved them up someone's *** at Roush.

Same problem, I removed the springs and lubed with Mobil1 synthetic grease. Okay for about 6 months now.

Yeah..Mine do....

I haven't really done anything...

I always have the tunes cranked....

Riding around with the windows down and it off I get the squeak at low speeds over rougher road....I slow almost to a stop fro speed bumps and knowns....

I would say use some silicon spray ...for fast relief. I have the Cal Tracks and replaced the front Roush bushings with Cal Trak's aluminum bushings with steel inserts.... I also have drop shackels so
The lenght induces more leverage....I did not lube at all on the install..or since..about 7000 miles so far...
Did you shorten up the end links?
Some teflon dope may work and hang in there longer....

I know folks use WD-40 for all kinds of things but It is recommended as a Penetrant and moisture dispersant more than a lube..My bet is it drys out the rubber bushings more than it lubes...

I work in the Oil Patch..where
All Rigs have a Pusher,Gangs, Buckets of dope and 30 foot joints.....

I had the same problem with something squeaking back there. Since I greased the hell out of everything that moves, the only thing left was the Hotchkis leafs. I first tried WD40 in between the leaves. No joy. I then got a needle attachment on a grease gun and stuffed as much Mobil 1 grease in between the leaves as I could. No joy.

A couple of weeks later, though, I noticed that the squeak was gone. Was it the WD40? The grease? The passage of time? Dunno. I offer this post only to help calm your nerves -- one way or the other, a squeak can be fixed. It does still crop up every now and then, but it's so infrequent that it no longer makes me homocidal.

My noise must be comming from the leafs. After the WD40 it stops for a while. I know WD40 is not the answer but I wanted to see if I was the only one to have the squeek. I was thinking about calling Roush. These really should not make noise. The stock one's don't!

The real fix would be to take the leafs apart and install some teflon sheets between them. You may also want to lube up your bushings and endlinks.

Heheh, Jerry, you remind me of that fairy tale of the queen that could feel the pea through a dozen matresses.

Is it the springs or the bushings that are squeaking on you? Have you put grease in your bushings? Mine will squeak, but it s my own fault for not putting grease on them yet...silicone spray/wd40 is only a temporary fix.

...and even thoguh it improves performance, if I were you, I wouldn't buy eurothane bushings to go around...you think you squeak now...

My Roush springs don't squeak, but I bought them used. At least I think they don't. I usually drive with the windows down and going pretty fast. I also have tyhe JDM exhaust and no cats. My brakes squeak, that really is driving me crazy.

This http://www.agspecialty.com/EZslide.htm would entail a lot of work(disassembling the leafs, cleaning, etc.) but some guys on another site have used it successfully.

Sprayed my Roush leafs with lithium grease. Good for the last 3 months and counting.
