whats the trick to the coil packs?

whats the trick to the coil packs?

Dont want to try and remove the coil pack wires without knowing exactly how they come off--i dont want to strip or break anything....does anyone have a pic or tip as to how to DC them?...I checked the "search" and a bunch of other stuff came up....thanks

I believe you just squeeze the top and bottom of the connector and it releases...been awhile since I did mine.

The "clip" or "tab" is on the bottom. Compress it and pull to disconnect........then just pull the coil pack off the plug. Of course this is all after you remove the 7mm nut.

But yes, you just pinch the tab on the bottom and pull the plug off.

I have it from good authority, that this "Joe" used to check his plugs weekly...he should be able to do it by feel alone...
