I been watching the weather forecast for the week and it does not look good. They are saying no rain Thursday and Sunday but rain on Friday and Sat This really sucks. Just thought I would let everyone know.

 

Don't worry, it rains EVERY year at WFC. George and the crew at World Race Events are top notch and always get the action done somehow, no matter what Mother Nature has to say.

 

No kidding, last year there was a good 3-4 inches of water at the track and I could see my breath the whole weekend. I can still picture 10 or so L owners huddled in JDM's trailer trying to keep warm!!! It was crazy!!!!!

 

I dont care I will be leaving thursday morning!!!! FO SURE!!!

Unfortunately no. After the fire and explosion last week at NMRA, I busted my butt all week and all weekend, fixing all the damage. I finished the truck on Sunday, started it up, only to hear a heck of a racket from the motor. Pulled the cam covers, found a dislodged follower, and then found why it was dislodged-- a bent valve. So the 01 has to stay home unfortunately, and the Gen 1 comes out of retirement. I am looking forward to racing my 95 again, but I am really bummed that I can take the 01, I really wanted to put on a show for everyone at WFC .

 

So you ended up finding lodging for Thursday night Chris??? Or are you gonna put that bedrug to use in the parking lot of the New Sheraton?

Chris, yes, I will have lots of stuff for sale, including the nitrous plate kits. Many parts will be at "show special" pricing too.

wow, sal.. that sucks... i guess i could donate my truck to you for WFC6.. just drop in a built motor and the nitrous.. you can have the trophy and prize money.. i'll just drive the truck home. LOL
