Rear Speaker Access/Install

I know don't do the rears, however the price was too good to pass up. I did do a search and needed to clarify. The push pins: to get them out I pull the centers out correct or do I push them in a 1/8"? Please advise

The front speakers I think I've got enough info on how to do. Thanks.

Push them in. Then, when reinstalling them, push them back out so that you can push them 1/2-way in to reinstall them.

The rears are only worthless if you also have subs back there.

I started off with Pioneer 2-ways in the rear, and Pioneer 2-ways with the compression horn tweeter in the front and it was a great improvement. Then HU was replaced and an even better improvement.

Then subs went into the rear, and haven't heard the rear speakers since

So I'm a little dense. My wife and I did the rear and front and man the rears really don't do jack. I think that I will get a sub of some sort and put the stockers back in the rear. I can always use the Pioneers in the Expy. BTW the four speakers only took an hour to do.
