1000 miles. Problems

Okay here it is:
I've got the clunk or more like a squeak at full turn.

When transmission is in drive it rattles some (torque converter?).

Tips are uneven and everyone but me noticed a small dent under the Ford logo on the tailgate. It's obvious that it was done at the factory since the paint is flawless in that area. Local SVT dealer says that he can't fix the dent since he won't get paid. This is without seeing it. BTW he acted like since they didn't sell it to me, well you know the rest. What I didn't tell him is that his fleet dealer guy told me that the '03's had not shipped yet. This was ten days ago. Needless to say I kept on driving.

What did you do about the dent?

BTW I don't feel like the Lone Ranger. Actually I feel more like the group.

no clunk here, my steering stops made noise until I greased them though. When I took off the dealer sticker that was under the svt badge on the tailgate, there was a chip in the paint they had tried to touch up. I ended up puting on one of those gel coated "supercharged" stickers over it. Looks good now

Call a Dent Doctor or similar type business that does paintless dent repair. It will usually cost about $75.00. Ask around for recommendations in your area as to who a good one is. Just because the dent didn't break the paint doesn't necessarily mean it had to come from the factory that way. I have a dent in the door of my car that didn't even leavea scuff mark and it just happened a few weeks ago. Good luck on your repair.

Thanks for the replies. I must be getting old though, becuase I might just leave it. I've had "problems" fixed before and sometimes the cure is worse than the disease.
