How should I look to fair against stock C5 with my new mod?

I have a 4lb pulley along with JDM agressive chip, air raid filter, boost bypass and Tr6 plugs... I just got the 4lber...Not knocking the new covettes, I love them, but just a few around my area think they are tops...I just been having this itch to run one from a stop and beat it...What would possibly be the turn out through say a 1/4 mile run now that I have a pulley?

A regular C5? You should do pretty well.

I would say that your mods should put you into the 12's, which is quicker than a stock C5.

Just think, you'd even give a Z06 a run for its money. You'd lose, but you'd definately surprise the guy

If you launch well and he is truly stock, should be a good race. If he has a manual trans it will be his race to win or lose, depending on his skill. If he has an auto with the stock 2.73:1 rear gear you should beat him. If he has the 3.15 gear it will be close. With my mods and a mild chip tune I can take stock C5's, but most are like us and don't leave them stock for long. I also have a heads/cam, etc, etc C5 and my truck WILL NOT hang with it. Good luck and enjoy the ride, either way.

Thumbs up

Make sure to go from a dead stop and you'll give them a very good run.

Again thanks

Now I can't wait to bump into my first stock C5 whose willing to go at a run from dead stop

Knock on wood, I havent lost to a vette yet! ZO6 or otherwise!
I still respect them though, because you never know what may be lurking under the hood.
I dont fear stock Vipers neither. Not sure about the new 500 HP one's that just come out, they may be a different story. But Im the one that ran a 2000 GTS from a 60 roll no less and got him! Im the reason he has modded that Viper to hell now, including NOS. LOL! Dont think I could do much with him next time. Ill run Viper's and Vette's from a dig or 60 roll up to about 110 or so and get out of it. I have no illusions who would win on the top end. We can put all the power we want into these trucks, but they're still trucks with the aerodynamics of a brick.
