What's the most common color for the Lightning?
Always disliked silver cars until i bought my lightning. The silver looks like rolling sterling when clean and for some reason they look full size compared to darker colors, which to me look like a mid size. My Expe. was black, love black but i always detail myself and it was a b**ch! Don't know the numbers more black and red than anything!
Red has been produced the most by far.Other than the blues and greys which are 1 year only colors.White is BY far the rarest.Only like 200 or so for 2002 and almost as rare every year.Ive had a 99/00/02 and all have been white.If I could trade in right now and not lose my shirt,pants,sock,and underwear,id be driving a sonic blue but I refuse to take the hit again.everytime i see a wrecked white one i get this jolly feeling and tell myself,"theres one less and mines even more rare now" LOL J/K kinda........

Here we go again
Black is the best - clean or dirty, but I still wouldn't mine owning one of every color and having a Jay Leno garage for all of 'em.
But I am certainly fickle, 'cause if I had red, then red would be the best, and if I had white....blue....gray...........

Well, we all know the BEST color is red, but he was looking for numbers.

I believe RED and BLACK hold the top positions when it comes to number of units produced. WHITE has been produced every year, but like Lightningquick said, it's pretty rare. SILVER was produced for three years, and they made quite a few of them. TRUE BLUE only had one year and very few produced. DARK SHADOW GREY and SONIC BLUE....just this year, so it's anyone's guess.
IMHO, red and black look the best if you take good care of them. Otherwise, they'll look pretty humdrum. I have seen a few white L's around Dallas; unless they are just filthy, they usually look great. Recently, someone posted a pic of their white L after painting their rims to match. That is one suhweeet white L. I love silver and dsg (dsg looks much better with chromies, IMO). Sonic and true blue haven't floated my boat, yet.

(although, unfortunately, we all know that Sonic Blue is the best color.
)
I think they made more true blue's in 02 than black or silver. It's not the "rarest" as everyone says. In fact the rarest year/color combo is white 2002, with less than 300 made.
That being said, Whi7e 0wnZ J00!

In every year up to '02, it's BLACK:
