I was just wondering if anyone purchased a Lightning recently and got the special financing rates...the ones that exclude the Lightning. Thanks.

 

You mean the 0%? I've heard they are offering that for Mustangs and other Ford vehicles but not SVT.

 

Ya the 0%. Back when I got my 2001 they let me have the 0/1.9/2.9 offer on my Lightning. But that was when the SVT was included in the special interest rates. Just wondering if anyone got the dealership to give them the 0% for the 03's?

 

Not me. Got my '03 of the lot back in February. I got them to give me X-Plan -- and they were whining the whole time -- but wouldn't budge on the 0%. I stil got a great interest rate, but 0% would have been suhweeeet!!

 

Ford offered 0% on all models right after 9/11, but nothing since then.

 

Guess I lucked out then because I got mine the halloween right after 9/11. But I visited a dealer today and they didnt want to give me the 0% or the X-plan. Guess I'll keep looking

 

Well the dealer I am working with said they would give me X plan..... but I can not find any one to support me on this... I thought it was easier to get..... so with out xplan it is 30700. No incentives on intrest rates at all...\

I got mine on A plan back in jan, but no special financing. Got 5.99% from my bank.

They generally offer a $2000 rebate on the SVT Focus.

Other than that, nadda.

 

4.15% through a bank. Start out with http://www.peoplefirst.com and use their interest rate as leverage at the dealer. Good luck.

 

Ya but I thought I remember some guys getting Ford's special rates even when the Lightning was excluded...

 

I see you're in the Dallas area. I had four dealerships offer me x-plan on a new '03 back in Feb. E-mail me here . By the way, qualifying for x-plan also gets you discounts on a Ford ESP.
