anyways, your post doesn't make any sense, i'm not saying i could make a better product, i'm saying that, companies shouldn't sell products that just don't work, and to get them to work, it takes modification.

metco should fix this problem, since this isn't just a little rattle noise, its a big pain in the @ss and upsets many of the people that have "tired" to install them

also metco should really stop selling their interchangeable pulley system with 2/4/6 lb pulleys, they should sell them at lower lbs, since they really aren't what they state them are.

and cal-tracs are the best and always were, and no i don't own them, i use slappers, and they only change they ever had to make was two little shims to stop a rattle, they never re-disigned the whole system, like metco will have to
I don't work for Metco..Just good friends with them, I am also friends with JDM, JLP, PSP, and several other vendors I have met and hung out with. I post replies to other vendors products good or bad.

Their lower pulley sizes, I haven't checked them, I didn't know that, If it's true....I run a JLP #5 lb lower.

OK, I see the problem Tim had and some other L owners are having. All I had to do was, move my clamp back behind the bracket. Tim's clamp and tailpipe seams for the tips are in-between the bracket. My pipes coming from my stock muffler must have been shorter and my tail pipes a little longer. I guess the Ford guys on the assembly line have different lenght muffler parts.

I installed their Lowers on my stock truck exhaust. Cutout a section on the passenger side to fit for the exhaust, called and E-mailed them pictures of what I did. They started selling all their brackets with the new cutout. I now have them installed with my JDM catback exhaust, it worked with it.

Last i heard on this forum about 6 weeks ago was, Metco was going to increase the diameter of their ring sizes on the next batch of production. I dont know if they have done this or not.

I see the advertised boost on mine. My buddy has the same pulley on his and sees the advertised boost as well.

I dont think there really is a correct size when comparing all of the pulley's out there.
