Question do i have a problem?

ok, i was driving around with my friend and we were passing his brother i nailed it and did a nice flyby. well later on i talked to his brother and he said he say some smoke come out. well my damned truck has always made this damned smell when ever the vaccuum drops and i start to get into boost. almost like burning sulfer. this has happened since the thing was stock. now i have a 6lber, chip tuned rather safely, TB, highflow cats, blah, etc. i had attributed this to belt slip, but now i have the feeling im wrong. any input would GREATLY be appreciated

Don't take this as 'gospel' but I wouldn't be worried. At a dyno session last year, I went to WOT and blew smoke and black 'spots' of fuel/oil(?) all over the the quarter panel--and the dyno shop's wall. It was just an overly rich chip/a/f ratio--and, maybe a little unwanted oil in the intake?

Condensation also fills up the exhaust and can be blown out under a WOT run too.

true, it was definitly doing it before any mods. so i dont think its a rich prob...what really worries me is the acrid smell of burnt rubber/sulfur. its been doing that since forever i think. could it be belt slip? i mean its pretty bad, my gf following me said she could smell it and it was bad.

Had the same issue happen at the dyno. I was running waaaay too rich (under 10.0) and there was black soot all over the ground effect and wall of the dyno after my runs.

Running rich isn't *that* big of a problem IMO. You go through fuel filters quicker and you might wanna do some WOT blasts every now and then to clean off your plugs? That's the advice I got anyway....
