Question question for Robo2

Do you run with o/d on or off. I have 4.10's and am concerned about over-reving when on N2o.

I ALWAYS leave mine OFF

BTW
I've also done over 130 MPH in 3rd gear with the OD off
""By acident of course"", but I did it,
the SOB was screaming @5700-5900 RPM
(No I don't have to worry about my Limiter, it's waaay up there)
Everyone knows I like to see the tach pinned
Crazy BUT TRUE

ASK Dave Red 99, he saw it go to 6k before shifting 2nd a couple of weeks ago, he looked over and said,
Ah Rob, did I just see the Tach go to 6k,
I said Ah YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaa

Just about turning 11k now

BTW
I do think thats too high
and I have written Jonny about a re-burn

But I've had this problem with 3 differant tuners and many programs, mine seems to always shift @200 RPM higher than it's set for ???? Same with the Limiter ???

I understand the tach COULD BE off A LITTLE,
but this is shifting at extremly high RPM,
every bit of 5700 - 6000

I believe our tach's are a tad off but I would rather be safe than sorry. I know some believe that there are no gains to be seen revving our 5.4s that high and that the power drops off significantly after 5200 rpm. I think Sal once said that ideally, one should rev just a couple of hundred RPMs above the power drop-off. I think 54-5500 RPMs is pretty good (mine is 5500 rpm).
