Question Carbon fiber tonneau?

Hey guys, does anyone sell hard carbon fiber tonneau covers for the L? Been searching but haven't had any luck.

I'm thinking a CF hood and tonneau on a black L might look sweet.

I have gone round a round on this, and no one that I have found offers one.

This place may be able to make one out of C/F, as they already have the mold and the carbon fiber mat.

What is “rice” about a lightweight cover with some visual appeal?

I would be down if it looked clean and was just a thin sheet of CF. I want a lockable hard top but don't want to add the extra weight of the regular fiberglass ones....

It wouldnt be ricey if it was painted. I mean honestly, carbon was meant to be painted over and i think CF panels that are not painted look gay as hell. I would like to know the total weight the tonneau would be in CF.

Interior pieces are different.

To each his own! A carbon fiber wheel tubs in a Pro Mod is
the Chit an 6.19et 230 mph is far from gay. Would it look good on a hood I don't think so,but a bed cover I'm going to say yes
thats my .02 cent.

If your looking for weight loss whithout the c/f...then do a search for SVTED and ask him about his 9# hood and 19-20# hard cover.

My low pro hard cover weighs in at 60#'s but is no longer being sold and not exactly c/f light, but i have one on both of my trucks so you might find a used one from an n/a f150.

The lightest hard cover I have found is about 50lbs.

I think a unpainted C/F panel looks out of place, but if you paint part or all of it....
