Question Being grinded...& not in the good way....

Hey...on slow, extreme left turns Im getting a grinding sound almost exactly like the sound 4x4's sound like when you have the 4x4 engaged and make a slow, hard turn. I have never heard this before on a 2 wheel drive. Any ideas? Whats grinding?...

Its usually referred to as the infamous "clunk", but it sounded more like grinding to me, too. You need Herb's washers and a cam bolt kit.

Seriously? That nasty grinding is the clunk? I didnt think a washer could cause an extended grinding noise like that.....

I had this problem on extreme right and left slow turns, grease the stearing stops, I would bet thats the problem. Good luck, Todd
