Need help finding a Ford Part

Sorry guys, not for the L
but I have no where to turn and I've been looking at hundreds of sites for days on end with no luck.

I bought a POS 89 Mustang 4cyl from the orig owner and all is well except I got a bad gas leak.

Ok it's very simply, the side of the fuel tank has a 2-3" hole where the filler tube goes in, around that hole is a gasket that pops into the tank, then the filler tube into the gasket/tank, thats where it leaks.

WHERE THE HELL CAN I GET THAT GASKET ????
1989 Mustang LX 4cyl 5sp
Does anyone know if that filler tube comes out without dropping the tank ??? Looks like it does.

Thanks if anyone can help,
I'm all web sited out and haven't seen one yet ???

Sorry to post it here everyone

Rob, try junkyarddog.com You put your request out on the site and then you get reply's from around the country. I've had friends use it with great success and great $$$ saved.

Rob

If you have a copy of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, there are a bunch of mustang parts suppliers in them.
On a side note, if you develop a leak in the gas tank itself, they make an epoxy glue that comes with some sort of wax. You use the wax to plug the gas leak. (Gas doesn't "melt" this special wax) Then you use the epoxy over the wax. It works GREAT. I found out about it, when the 1975 LTD's gas tank decided to leak after putting 30 gals of fuel in it

Call me this afternoon about those THINGS
