Rims, 8" or 10" for Hoosier

I'm planning on getting some 28X10.0-16 Hoosiers. I know that I need some rims with the 5-135 bolt pattern. I've been looking at the US Wheels. And if I went aluminum these Ultra 50/51's look awesome. Does anybody have a pic of their L with these on?

Hoosier says that either an 8 or 10 will work. Does anybody have a preference? Does anybody have some pics? Is the tire pressure the same for both rims?

Thanks.

You'll want 10" to keep all the slick down to the track!

I had the same dilema. I got the new Hooser 28x14.5x16 12" wide tires and the 10" Aerican Racing wheels. If you get 10" wheels you can get the bigger tires as an option. If you get the 8" you are stuck with the smaller tires.

Well I'm sold on the 10" rims. Now where is the best place to purchase the rims and Hoosier 28X10.0-16 tires? I would prefer that the tires were mounted to the rims for cheaper shipping, and less hastle.

Where did you buy 16x10 American Racing wheels?

How about the Ultra rims and tires?

I'm using 11.5" wide Hoosiers QT Pros on 8" rims. Hooks hard.

I got the AR wheels from a local tire shop that I have friends at and they were the cheapest aluminum 10" rims they could find (132ea and they look real nice. The Mid Atlantic Hoosier Distributor is only 5 minuutes from my house (W&W Racing Tire). www.wwraqcingtires.com

Nice Choice..I like Mine... 16x8 fronts, 16x10 rears, Hoosier recommends 10" for the QT Pro's.
