Ported heads/intake installed, now tranny shift too soon! Help!
Finally went for a test drive after the ported heads and intake were installed and everything seems fine but the tranny shifts sooner into 1,2, and 3rd then it did before. So whatever is going on is related to the porting because it never did this before. Any ideas on what the fix maybe? Im thinking reburn the chip, but dunno. I really cant tell if Ive gained or lost power with the porting, verdict is still out on that. Its been really warm(80's) and humid as hell here lately. The L always acted sluggish is high humidity.
The "hissing" sound the new Billetflow makes is intoxicating though!

It shifts too soon while just driving around at normal speeds, when I try to accelerate from a light(gradually mashing the pedal down) it wants to go ahead and shift way too early where use to it would wind out a little before shifting depending on how agressivley you were into it.
Wonder if the TPS they set on the nes T/B could be off? It idles fine though at about 700 rpm.

Hopefully, Factory Tech will comment.
