The large bolt that holds it onto the balancer is it backwards threads or regular threads? My Ford mach put it on, so I don't know.

No one could have ansured that question. I was losening the harmonic balancer bolt. Got the pulley off and the balancer. About 3-4 more hours and these heads will be off. Not bad for and amature! I have had such bad luck with all those JDM pulleys I don't know how to take off a real one!
