Online Finance Companys?

In the past couple weeks ive seen people mention online companys where they have gotten great rates through to finance their vehicle. The only thread I can find mention's www.peoplefirst.com . Does anyone else know some other companys that have good rates? Im just trying to do some research and see if I can save myself a couple bucks. Thanks a lot.

Here's the one someone else posted about a few weeks ago. I got a rate from them, called my credit union to get the payoff, and the c/r matched the rate, no questions asked, so I stayed with them for the same rate--5.19% for 36 months.

After being approved buy E-loan,i never got back with them and two weeks later, they sent me an e mail asking if i would consider using them if they would lower the rate another 1/2% to somewhere just over 4.50%.

I called eloans and they lowered my interest rate by 5 1/4 percent so I am a happy camper. Thanks to whoever posted that link.

I used Peoplefirst who was recommended by someone on this board. They came back within ten minutes with a rate of3.49% over 60 months. They send you a check that you then have the dealer fill out. Problem was that one dealer would not use Peoplefirst. He said that they take to long to pay.

The dealer that I actually did buy from was going to use Peoplefirst but he shopped around and got me a deal from a bank for 4.15% over 60 months. So I would suggest to get a Peoplefirst loan and then let the dealer beat it. Peoplefirst do state that they will match any bank, but by then who wants to call them to match it.

BTW I had to finance guy call Ford and the best they would do is 5.99%. I don't think they like SVT's.

The rates talked about above are for refinancing a vehicle.....not the original financing

I guess you must know MECCA like, well, you know really well then, because when I read the post it didn't mention anything about a refi. He could've wanted to save some bucks on new vechicle for his mom for all I know. However if you would read again what I wrote, even you could see that to work one lender against another is the way to go whether it is for a refi or new.

Chill out would you, or is this how you treat the new guy. Have a nice night.

I don't no him at all.....i was referring to the 3 posts after him when i said the rates talked about were for re-financing.

And no, i was not trying to treat the new guy badly...just letting you know why the rates were so far apart.

Congrats on your new loan rate and have a great day.
