Well 56,000mi mark and blown trans!! No burn outs or anything other than k&n air filter, factory tech vb. On the way home from work, stopped at light and it started to move than fell flat than slammed into gear. Drove it about a mile to house reverse was also affected. Got flatbeded to dealer! Waiting to see whats up!! Glad I, took the extended warranty. Any thoughts Factory tech?? Guess I'll Lose the Valve Body to the exchange Never gave any warning!! Very strange sorry for long winded rambel!! Artie

well I think the tranny lasted pretty long.

Burnouts don't hurt your tranny either, when you do a hard 1-2 shift or when you make the dreaded down shift to first when you hammer it is what kills your tranny.

atleast you'll get another tranny under warrenty. Make sure they put the new filter inline with the tranny lines and make sure the flush out your tranny lines cause there full of clutch material in the radiator section and it will destroy a new tranny in no time!

I doubt it, you'd really have to know what you were looking for and even then you'd have to dig deeper than they ussually do to find it. And for all that, there's really very little chance one could cause a failure of any kind. The only thing that can go wrong is the valves can stick, but that either happens as soon as you install it or it doens't happen. They're all checked for this before they ship and I've never had it happen on a valve body, though it did happen on a Monster Box I built at WFC last year, I replaced the box.
