Feelin Proud

Thanks for all the tips and help guys! Did my fuel filter along with my oil change yesterday-no sweat! Then started to look at the plugs and my god that looks tight , I have hands like Shaqs. I dont know? Then attempted to do the hitch removal mod, what the hell do they bolt them in with? Destroyed one wrench almost broke three knuckles, had a three foot pipe breaker bar and did not budge one nut------ shhhhiiiiitt. Should be getting my clunk washers from David Lynn any day, do I do it myself or are these things useless to try without an impact wrench?
Thanks again
Ken

We got my hitch off with a breaker bar pretty easily. The truck was on a lift though and it made exerting force easier...

i used a 2 foot pipe for leverage on the hitch and it came off in about 10 minutes. the fuel filter is another story. I CAN'T GET THE $)(*#&$()*&^#$(*&#$_ LINES OFF! i FINALLY got one end off but couldn't get the front line off. i've yet to be able to change it. next attempt i'm gonna try and use the schrader valve everyone talks about...

smkstklightning: nah.. i'm used to breaking bolts on the truck when i tighten them, so i applied that force in reverse.. LOL

litnfast: i'm glad you didn't try to tow anything with it!!!! lol

gambinotdx: if you have one line off, the valve wont help you any. push the tool into the line coupler & then push the line towards the tool at the same time.. maybe that will make it unlock.

it still gives me problems at times too.. good luck!.
