FRPP or Eibach/Belltech 1/2 Drop

Which one gets you lower? Lets see the pics boys, and also if you took any measurements of before and after.

I am having a hard time deciding. They both seem like good kits but I don't know which one will get me lower. BTW I have a 2001 L.

Thanks

Nate

Apparently the front FRPP springs do not drop as much as the Eibach springs. The rear drop shackles are the same.

Nate you know which one I got. HEHEHE

The FRPP is definately more cosmetic then performance using a softer spring.

Good luck in whatever you choose.

BTW- you have mail

Don't be shocked (pun intended) WHEN the Eibach/BelTech drop turns out to be a 2/2

FRPP kit on my 99'
It always seems to look like more of a drop on the 99/00's than it does on the 01-03's

Just depends on what you want to do with your truck. The FRPP has a rougher ride than the Eibach. The main difference is the FRPP has shorter springs, while the Eibach has longer springs, but they are progressive.
The FRPP and Groundforce are the same thing.

You can tow with either lowering kit, as long as the trailer is weighted probably.

I probably could tow something, I just wish I had something to tow, like a nice boat, a couple of jet ski's.....haha

I also recently took my hitch off so I won't be towing anything in the near future. Best price I found was at www.truckperformance.com, it is also commonly referred to as the Ground Force kit. About the ride, I thought it was smoother than stock it definitely took the twisties better. Goodluck

I have had the GroundForce kit on for almost 2 years now. No complaints here.

i'd have to say that speedin bob is right.... the eibach are closer to 2', mine is close, i have absoute no wheel well gap, makes my back end look higher, so i got a 3' drop shackle, even's it out alittle but could be more...

Isn't there a cam bolt or camber kit that you are supposed to get after you lower it? I know it was mentioned before but I couldn't find it. If I remember correctly you could get them from Ford or Napa & they were installed when you get the front end aligned. If anyone knows the part number for them could you please post them. Thanks
