mod list for a the new L owner

So, I purchased my Sonic Blue L yesterday and I wanna put a couple G's in the truck.

I found this ...

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/lightoption.htm

Option E: Dyno Tuned Combination

DiabloSport DELTA Chip
Accufab Single Blade Throttle Body (polished billet)
Your choice , 4 lb. 6 lb. or 8 lb. Crank Pulley
Correct GatorBack Belt
C&L 95MM Mass-Air and Cold-Air Kit
Adds 88+ RWHP *$989.95

Is there anythign else that I "want to get" to go with this package of stuff guys?

ideas and suggestions needed. I heard about water pumps, electric fans and stuff all improving hp, are these real gains?

And for exhaust throaty-ness, whats the best exhaust that won't rust, Bassani is what I hear, does anyone know the real gains by adding bassani headers, down pipe, x pipe and exhaust?

anything else I'm missing?

Also, I want a hard tonneau cover and bed rug, anyone know the best place to purchase one online or in the Seattle area and have it painted.

Are there any other simple low-cost or no-cost mods that I need to do.

Thanks
Jared

Hmmm 88 rwhp must be with the 8 lb.?

The big question is: will your actual chip be dynotuned or is it mailorder? If it is the former, then that isn't a bad deal because you figure in dyno time, etc.

It doesn't sound like a bad package even if it wasn't.

This is what I paid for my stuff (roughly...it's been a while):

4# JLP: 160
GY GB: 25?
JDM Flipchip: 200
Single blade TB: 235
JDM filter kit: 100

TOTAL: 725ish

Didn't get a bigger MAF and I don't think you need it. The stock 90mm should be enough and even the 11 second trucks on here use them just fine.

Efans do net you some power and are great for the track cool-downs. The Cobra R waterpump is another story. I run the Meziere electric waterpump but it is pretty pricey at 300+ dollars.

Bassani catbacks are SS and from what I've heard have great fit and finish. It is one of the best catbacks on the market for our trucks. Bassani shorty headers make no hp and I would recommend longtubes instead. However they are pretty pricey.

Just short of the longtubes which will net you some horsepower (not that much with those mods) our stock exhaust is "free-flowing enough".

Looks like a good package. But you can kiss your warrantee good-by. Don't forget Herb's washers and a cam bolt kit.
