Some people would like to hear the exhaust before they buy it.
So I thought I would share two of the different exhausts that I have had on my truck. First I had the Bassani, now I have the JDM.

The Bassani full exhaust, coated shorty headers, high flow cats, x-pipe and cat back.

JDM full exhaust, Stepped Longtube headers, 3" midpipes (no cats) x-pipe and the dual magnaflow muffler cat back.

Ok bill now after hearing that i want to get rid of my highflow cats and get the 3 inch mid pipes .

You didn't dump your lovely wife off on the side of the road and have her film a high speed pass, your loosing it buddy.

If you think the exhaust sounds awesome on that video, you guys have to hear it with a load on it, as it flies past you. Just amazing is all I can say.

Both systems sound great. The Bassani sounds a little deeper but the JDM sounds definitely louder. I would have to go with hi flow cats for the emission thing here though.

 

I gutted my high flow cats and passed emissions on Saturday. It may depend on the emissions testing your state does. Ours is just a quick OBDII test w/o a sniffer in the tail pipe.

 

Thanks guys, hey Don the fly by will be soon, but I think I will wait for the bigger blower, upgraded fuel system, and a good tune. Then there will be something to video.

I do have cat shells welded over the 3" pipes so I could pass emissions, that way there is no turbulence in it. They just do a visual and a gas cap pressure test here now and I passed fine.

A few more weeks and it will be time to take it to the track..

Wow the Silver Bullet sounds very nice with those 3' pipes.

 

It's not the silver bullet, it is the dual Magnaflow muffler one.
