As you look at it from the rear, there is a black hose that runs into the left side of the rear axle next to the differential. Does anyone know what this hose is for, and where the other ends connects? I noticed it hanging down yesterday, and don't know what to do with it? Best description I could give, and I don't have a camera for pics now. Thanks.

it is probably a breather hose.

Thanks, but is it supposed to fit somewhere? There's a black plastic tip that looks like a connector or adaptor to fit into something.

 

It goes up in a hole in th eframe and just hangs there
