Plug Launching

Hey,

Could one of you experts let me know if this truck is a prime candidate to launch a plug? I asked the owner if it had the original heads and he said "This vehicle is all original. My brother in law works as a Ford tech. I had him inspect the truck. It passed with flying colors. It just needs a new owner."

Also, what do you think about the price?

One more question: There's a brand new '02 L here for sale. It's the silver color. What price would you expect to be able to drive it away? I'm in Madison, WI (53703) if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Don

All Lightnings COULD launch a plug at any time. Best way to prevent this is to check yourself to make sure that ALL plugs are tight.

Give me another $2,000 on top of the buy it now price and I have a Black 01 with 20,000 miles on it for ya. Comes stock or with all the mods my sig.

I would offer the dealer $27k or $28k for the 2002 and buy that if I were you. Or buy my truck. Goodluck with whatever you buy. -Mat-

I've changed my plugs a few times and haven't checked them in 25k miles. Tighten them correctly the first time and you'll have no problems. I'm thinking about doing them again..........................................may be.

That's a LOT of miles for a 2002 Lightning. Go with something with lower mileage....you'll thank me in the end.
