$3k? They must be replacing both heads for you. They only did one on my truck.

From my understanding of the parts they ordered for my truck, the both heads on the truck will be replaced. I think the total cost will fall somewhere between $2500-$3200. But Ford has fixed my portion to $700.

My dealer has already ordered the regular heads. This problem shouldn't re-surface again though...knock-on-wood!

That'd be a trick to put a DOHC head on a Lightning, and have the dealer do it!

You may get teh upgraded heads. I would definately ask the
dealer to check and see how many threads the new heads have
that way you can sleep easier. ...

Congrats on your racing! Now your hooked!!

Where did you race? have raced at the tracks in the DC area for years and never get 7 runs in 90 minutes.
I most likely wouldn't as I allow for cooldown between runs, but
thats just me.
I am in Arlington VA. and am looking for someone to go racing with as I have been known to go solo when all my buddies are either broke or tied up.
I raced at 75 and 80 dragway last weekend, got 4 runs in on motor 12.98, on NOS 12.48

Contact me before you go next.

Are you going to Hagerstown on May 10th?

Jim
