Question Anyone using Nitto 285/35/22 tires

Was wondering how they ride and if you would buy them again. Where did you buy. Any comments & pics would be appreciated.

I have them, and the reason I choose them was good grip, same over all diameter as the stock 20”s, and a 2094 load rating.

The only other tire I considered was the Michelin tire that comes on the X5.

Ayrton -

What is your rim width. Someone said that a 285 tire is too small (width) to fit on a 22 x 10 rim which is what I purchased.

How are the Nitto's wearing, and are you happy with them.

Looking at $335 a tire...does that sound right.

Thanks
Howard

A 285/35/22 will fit between a 9.5, and 11.0 wide wheel, but it is optimized for a 10” wide wheel, so whoever gave you that info was mistaken, and I am running a 22x10 wheel.

I only have about 1000 miles on them, but the grip is nice, and I am told it will improve with some miles.

$335 a tire is one of the best prices I have seen.
