20" Billet Specialties Shock 6 Wheels

Hey,

A friend is wanting to sell these rims and tires to me at a fairly cheap price because he sold his Lightning. He paid about $6,000 for rims and tires, I saw the receipts. They have about 5,000 miles on the set.

Tires are Goodyear Eagle Ultra HP plus's. I had them on my 99-00 chrome wheels and they rode and handled pretty good. The rims are made from one solid piece of Billet aluminum.

You guys think $2,000 is a good deal? What do you think, IF I don't want them, Somebody else interested???

Thanks,
DL

First off, please dont take any of this the wrong way.
I'm just trying to inform you a bit.

Those are not Shock 6's, they're just called Shock. They are from Billet Specialties Cruise Line. The Shock6 is the six spoke version for six lug trucks.

If he paid $6k for those and a set of Goodyear HP's, he got RIPPED OFF!!!!

MSRP for those wheels in the 20x9.5 is $750 each. Even if he paid full price, thats $3000.

Tires, from the looks of it are 295/40-20's, run around $170 each, thats $680.

The maximun total he should have paid was about $3700 plus shipping (and/or tax).

$2000 seems like a decent price as long as the wheels and tires are in PERFECT shape. If anything at all is wrong, I'd offer less.

They're nice rims. I'd say they're worth it. Must be a light rim!

Heck, if I had $2000, I'd go for it.

Hey thanks,

I had the Goodyears, I bought them wholesale. He bought them at a Goodyear store, I'm sure he paid to much. The billet wheels he bought at a local wheel store for retail also.

That's why we all help each other on here, We all want a good deal.

Thanks for the info,
