Question New brake question

OK getting ready to do pad change this weekend.

What else may I need to do besides turning the rotors and bleeding the brakes. Will I need to go get some other parts that I can only get from a Ford parts dept.?

I'm putting on the Napa Ceramix. Whats the deal with the lifetime warranty? They run out, then you just go get new ones free of charge? That can't be.

I think the limited warranty probably only covers a defect such as the brake material coming off of the metal backing or something like that.

tools are not a problem. But will I need things such as:
Retainers (inner seal)
Outer bearings
inner bearings
Dust caps or cotter pins?

Keep in mind I have almost 13k on my L.

Wheel bearing grease(synthetic is best) and brake cleaner.

I think the rotors are supposed to be turned in place.

If it's just pads, you need a T45 Torx and they just slip out.

20 minute job
