Better handling???

Front tire blew out on me, 2x2 section missing out of the sidewall and a 4inch slash from the tip to the rim,,, so I put on the 16 spare and my turning is much more responsive and the truck seems to handle much better. I asked my friend about that and he said a 16 inch rim and tire is the optimum handling setup for most cars. Why is this?

IMO the tall-a$$ sidewall on that spare will NOT improve handling at ALL. And the spare tire isn't exactly a performance tire.

With that said, if I was doing up a full Griggs foxbody or maybe a road-race/stripped Integra Type R, I'd vote for some lightweight 16s or 17s max....

So Andrew, will you still make it to Grenada this weekend? What tires have you decided to go with?
