ok, i went to the track last week and my best was 13.835 at 99.5mph.

that was w/ 2 people, 20' chrome reps, 295/40/20 tires, and everything that came w/ the truck.. spare, jack, my cds, etc.

now today i removed the following....

i will have no:

*Other Person
*Spare Tire
*The Spare Tire Handle (to get it down)
*The Jack
*My big packet of cd's (at least 5-10lbs)
*Wood in bed (a couple 2x4's)
*keeping 20's on front, but putting stock 18's on back w/ 295/45/18 F1's w/ only 5,000 miles on them.

So do you guys think i will have any increase in time??

i consistently ran .2 slower with a passenger than without. So I would say at-least .2 faster.

WEll HELL!

W/Out these two who knows?? Maybe a 12.8?? LOL
Course if you leave in the 2 X 4's you could always beat the tar out of the guy next to you if he beats you??

Just food for thought

You guys run at the track with a passenger? I didn't think a track would let you do that, and why would you do that?

Its better than letting them drive your truck, heh. I think there may be a rule that if your faster than 12.99 or something you cant have a passenger.

my goal is 13.6's...

our track allows a passenger and no helmet if your not faster than 13.99... i was mostly running 14.0's all day last week, but than i got better at 60ft's and i started hitting the 13.9's after my 3rd they told me i need a helmet and get rid of the passenger, and they said i had 2 more warning's till im out. so then i ran another low 13.9 and than a 13.8....

if i hit 13.6's i'll be very pleased, and im hoping to not go over 14.0 at all today...

well my phone is ringing that means im leaving....

damn you guys are good....

i had like 13.73 or so @ 100-101mph (i dont have the sheet in front of me)

i ran 3 13.7xx's in a row, and then i had a problem w/ traction i went from 2.0's to 2.3's 60ft times.... i dont know what happened..

oh and is it worth it to remove my trailor tow package?? it's only 4 bolts that i saw, will i see a gain in time??
