After a few seconds it read correctly again. No codes were thrown, hasn't done it again. Anybody ever see this before?

Yep. Sounds like what was happening to mine when I didn't clean the contacts for my chip good enough.

 

As it turns out it was (I think) it was just low on transmission fluid. It would hit the rev limiter and not shift, until I let out of it. When you saw this did it just reset itself in around 10 seconds or so? Thanks for the help. BTW it kept running after I saw -------------------
