Best price on F1's or Nitto 555's

Well, since there seems to be no clear winner between the F! and the Nitto 555, I am going to go with whichever one I can get a better deal on. I have seen the F1's for 197 +shipping + getting reamed at a local place to mount/balance etc since you didnt buy from them. I have seen the 555's for $208 from discount tire direct .com +all the mounting/balancing charges but it includes free shipping.

Anyone know if I can do anybetter anywhere???

Thnx

Hmm if that price includes all mounting/balancing (which I was quoted around 45 bucks last time for 2 tires), that's a decent price. If you have a store near you I would go for it.

I know the F1s used to be 169..I ordered one from Mark@LFP and it was around 180 shipped. But I've heard they had a price jump recently so I dunno. Maybe give Mark a call and see?

C&L in Alabama also had them at similar prices...

Cyntaxx - Mounting balancing and all that is extra, gotta find a place to do that, and these places want to rip you off royally if you didn't buy the tire from them.

Socal - Spoke to someone there, but not Jimmy. I will try to ask for him specifically.

thnx

I got 4 F1's at Jimmy's Tires in San Clemente 6 months ago for about $780 installed out the door. Give him a call. He is one of the nicest guys I've met. Todd

I just located a local tire dealer and ordered 4, 295-45-18 Toyo Proxie S/T's. Total including balancing $749.38.
load range-2205
Dia. 28.3
Section width 11.6
weight 39 #
Dealer claims they area a 40,000 mile tire, but I seriously doubt it.
I like the looks of the tread pattern so decided to give them a try.

Take the best price you can find to your local Discount Tire or other store and give them a chance to match it. That way they get a little $$ on the sale and they do the mounting

Thats what LOTS of us do
