Questions about Rims

This has probably been asked a hundred times but I am asking anyway. How does switching to 20's or 22's affect the handling and traction of your L? I am thinking about getting rims and I not sure weather I should stick with the 18's or not. Also if you go with the bigger rims do you have to get the chip reburned to match them(speedo wise) or will the computer adapt? Please help!!!!!

I went to 20" Foose Spank 5's. My tire/rim combo is somewhere around 78lb's a piece. I noticed a HUGE difference in acceleration, and a big difference in traction. This does not bother me much because I rarely ever street race (I do it unplanned... and not unless I feel its safe). If/when I go to the track, ill make sure I get myself a set of slicks!

Mecca was the change in traction worse or did you get better traction? Any difference in cornering? Thanks for the help!!!!

Definitely lost traction big time. Cornering... don't really notice any difference.

Mecca, did you lose so much acceleration just because those Spanks weigh so much? Or just because the diameter of the wheel was increased?
