Wow that speedo is cool. Is it calibrated to work like that?

Or is it just to scare the crap outta passengers?

American Beauty. (Fast and the Furious )

Everything together was right around 1000 including labor, PS2, invertor, AV master unit, tv tuner, and screen/HU.

Where or how did you manage to get all that stuff for $1000? Can you hook up some of us poor guys with a deal? What kind of screen/HU is that?

Look closely. That's km/h on the outside, and mph on the inside.

I WISH we could find a speedometer like that for our trucks... Lord knows most of us can surpass 140mph....

That is an awesome install there cyn.. I like how he put the plugs in the floor trim> I had thought about that but decided against it just incase I wanted to get rid of the tuner and all. So How long did it take him to do the install and everything? How do you like it? Is it wired so you can have it on while driving around?

He got the "hook up" from me. Glad to see you finally got it all installed. Only took you about 8+months

It took about 10 hours but we weren't rushing to get anything done. Probably could have done it in around 6 or so if we focused and everything. It is wired so I can have it on while driving around. However, it sucks that everytime I power off, the PS2 and invertor shuts off since I don't have it wired on constant power. Still trying to figure out what I want to do so I don't risk draining the battery but can have the PS2 on when the truck is off *when I want to*. Maybe a switch to turn on/off constant power?

Thanks for the hookup soonerlightning. Did you ever get your new stereo goodies to replace the stuff you sold?

Yep saw his Pinto and the new set of heads he got. Looks like he'll be ready this summer for those sub 10 second slips!

And yea, his 1 15 hit damn hard in that Camaro!

We all need to get together this summer! I heard about your exploits, driving around with slicks in the bed ready to swap them on for a street race!

He told me about some tubbed big block camaro that no one wanted to run at one of the races. also told me about you going into a parking lot, swapping on slicks just to run someone.

Also gave me some info on that Cobra with the Novi 2000 and 318 stroker kit...
